Our work in October so far has included sealing several crawl spaces in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. We completed several sealed crawl spaces and encapsulated last week. We remove any old, falling down insulation and take out the old vapor barriers. We treat joists for mold. Next, we add new vapor barriers and foam boards around the perimeter. For many of the homes we service, we need to add new crawl space doors and dehumidifiers. Our customer Leah Green said, “Everyone that I dealt with was friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable. Overall I had a great experience and I appreciate all of their hard work!”
Encapsulate For Better Air Quality
When we serve you with a crawl space encapsulation, the difference in air quality is noticeable. Per homeowner Eric Langlois, his air quality was better especially after a substantial rain or downpour. “We no longer smell a wet ground/dirt odor in the house. It’s also more cost effective to cool the house and we have gained a significant amount of air-conditioned storage space. I recommend Live Green for your crawl space encapsulation,” Eric said. We will recommend sealing under your home to fight problematic moisture also.
